Grace, Lost, Found, Lost was created during my residency at KIAC in Dawson City, Yukon. Inspired by the lives of two women, Kate Carmack, née Shaaw Tlàa) and Ana de Graf, who lost their children in different ways, it represents the grief and hope of motherhood. A tree grows in the hostile environment of the mine tailings, showing that with perseverance, we can survive. Gratitude to the Canada Council for the Arts.

Lavoir is a body of work with three components all made in response to the historic washhouse of the village of St Mars du Désert in the Pays de la Loire, France using locally found textiles.
