He Said She Said

He Said She Said puts the writings of Jean-Jacques Rousseau on the education of women next to Mary Wollstonecraft's writings on the same subject. Wollstonecraft, a pioneering feminist, wrote A Vindication of the Rights of Women in 1792. Rousseau, a French philosopher of the Enlightenment, wrote Emile, or Concerning Education 30 years earlier. Hand embroidered on loom-woven fabrics in the design of looseleaf paper, by the @theweavingmill, with added pieces of found cross-stitch embroidery to allude to the samplers that girls once made as part of their education.
